House note
Wool coats, described as they are
A wool coat is bought once a winter and worn most days of it. Online, the two things that decide whether you keep it are the ones a photograph cannot show: how much of the cloth is wool, and how it will sit on you.
A 20% wool coat photographs like a 100% wool coat. A cut styled on a tall model falls differently on a shorter frame. So the parcel arrives, and the coat is thin for the price, or the proportion is wrong.
Lanora London exists to close that gap.

Why we sell wool coats and nothing else
A wool coat is compared across ten tabs and bought once a year, when the old one has gone or when a padded jacket will no longer do.
A shop with thousands of products cannot tell you that this one is a blend, or that the belt is sewn on. We can, because every specification is read before a coat goes on the site.

We write down what a coat is not
When the wool percentage is confirmed, it is printed next to the price, in the same size as the price. When it is not, the coat is sold as a wool blend. When a style runs large, the page says to take the smaller size.

A short range, checked one coat at a time
Thirty three coats in eight collections, on purpose. Each composition and size run was checked against the specification sheet before listing.
A coat is listed once its composition, its sizes and its delivery time can be stated and held to.
Long coats, dress coats and short coats, from £110 to £343 depending on how much wool is in the cloth.

A word from the founder
I started Lanora London after ordering a wool coat online that felt closer to blanket lining than to wool, and never getting an answer about the fabric.
The composition was on the label. It never reached the product page.
So this shop is built the other way round. I check the composition and the size chart of every coat and write down what I find, including what is less convenient to say: that a coat is a blend, or that a one size belt will not suit every waist.
My name is on this page. If something is wrong with your order, you reach me.
